Solid hardwood inspection
Corner blocks reglued, screws replaced, joinery checked. Soft frames are flagged before fabric goes on — no upholstering over a broken piece.

Whether the piece is a single chair or a fleet of matched seating, the work goes through the same bench. We strip down to the frame, check joinery and corner blocks, retie or replace springs as needed, install new high-density foam matched to the duty cycle, and pattern the new fabric panels off the originals.
Stitching is done on industrial walking-foot machines built for this work. Welt cording, tufting, channel stitch, deck-and-cushion construction, and bias-cut panels are all done in-house — no jobs farmed out, no surprises at delivery.
Half the cost of a real reupholstery is what you don't see. We don't cut corners on foam density, spring repair, or stitching gauge — that's why pieces come back fifteen years later as good as the day they left.

Church Pew Upholstery pickup is free for most projects in our regular service area. Mobile and on-site work available for restaurants, medical practices, and marine customers on request.
Pricing depends on the size of the piece, the fabric grade you select, and the condition of the frame and foam underneath. We give a free written estimate before any work starts — most are returned within one business day after a phone call or photos.
Typical turnaround for residential reupholstery is 2 to 4 weeks once we have the piece and the fabric in the shop. Commercial projects (booths, exam tables, captain chairs) are scheduled around your operations to minimize downtime.

Either works. We carry contract vinyl, marine vinyl, performance fabrics, and residential upholstery options at the shop, and we order from major mills (Sunbrella, Crypton, Maxwell, Robert Allen, etc.). Customer-supplied fabric is welcome with a yardage check before you order.
